Are grammar concepts continually reviewed throughout the year, or does EIW teach a concept, have worksheets, and then move on to the next topic?

The answer to your question is both!

EIW teaches grammar in isolation, with students completing grammar activities before moving on to other tasks.  Grammar activities are divided into 'identify' and 'apply' exercises. This approach isolates parts of speech, allowing students not only to identify them in sentences but also to use them as tools for effective communication. Later in the year, when EIW teaches composition such as paragraph and essay writing, grammar is frequently revisited during the drafting and revision stages.
